3-hour woodworking workshop for beginners Help students understand the wood lathe, its parts, the tools needed, safety tips, tool sharpening techniques, and how to shape wood on a lathe. This class consists of students learning how to roll a square stock, learning the four basic cutting techniques, and learning to turn a honey dipper as a take-home project.

This class is for ages 16 and older.

All materials included.

Timber sale! | Saturday, May 19th | 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Lumbercycle, a local nonprofit organization, will be holding a lumber sale immediately following the next class. It makes a fun combination of wooden slabs, turning stock for home lathe projects, and small wooden cookies that are perfect for kids to use as a canvas for their creative art projects.
