NEW VINEYARD — A Perry man suffered minor injuries Wednesday when the truck he was driving hydroplaned on Route 27 and crashed into the Main Wood Turning building, police said.

Scoville Fire Department, Deputy Fire Department Derrick Doucette, and New Vineyard Fire Department responded to the crash, which was reported at 7:50 p.m.

Irvince Bouvier, 39, was driving south when his truck veered off the road and crashed into a building.

“Speed ​​and weather appear to be the main causes of the crash,” said Sgt. Brad Scoville wrote in the police report.

Bouvier was treated at the scene by Northstar paramedics but refused to be taken to a hospital.
